Who we are
Tandem Lane is a trading name of Seeds of Success Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number [number], registered office [address]. We decide how your personal information is used, so we are its controller. Contact: hello@tandemlane.co.uk.
What we collect and why
- When you contact us: your name, email address and what you tell us, so we can reply. Our reason (lawful basis) is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
- When we research companies we might work with: publicly available business information, such as names, job titles and work email addresses, so we can find organisations we could help. Lawful basis: legitimate interests. You can ask us to stop at any time.
- On calls: notes and, only if you agree at the start, a recording and transcript, so we can listen properly and remember accurately. Lawful basis: your consent for recordings, which you can withdraw at any time.
- When we work together: the information needed to deliver the work. Lawful basis: our contract with you or your organisation.
- Visits to this website: anonymous visit counts from Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and doesn't identify you.
How we use AI
We use AI tools to research, take notes and draft documents. They run on our own private servers in Germany, and send text to the AI providers listed below only to do that work. Each client's information is kept separate from every other client's. A person reviews what the AI produces before it is used.
Who we share it with
Only with suppliers who help us run the business, under contracts that protect it:
- Anthropic: AI models
- Voyage AI: search across our notes
- Exa: web search for research
- netcup (Germany): our servers
- Cloudflare: website hosting, security and visit counts
- Fastmail: email
- [Transcription service, once chosen]
Some of these suppliers are based outside the UK. Where that applies, we rely on the safeguards the law requires, such as approved contract clauses or adequacy regulations.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and research notes: up to [12] months unless we start working together.
- Call recordings: deleted once transcribed; transcripts kept [for the length of our work together].
- Client work: until the agreed date at the end of the engagement, then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop using it, by emailing hello@tandemlane.co.uk. We reply within one month. If you're unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
